Id like to start by saying i had an adenoidectomy three days ago. When you get your adenoids out you go into the hospital and firstly get an IV which is a needle that they stick in your vein. This can hurt or not hurt you have a choice of numbing it up so it feels like a little poke. then you go in to the operating room and they knock you out and take your adenoids out, you do not feel a ting. you then wake up three-five hours later with a very soar throat and shivers. Then they ask you what color popsicle you want you eat it go home and sleep again. The recovery however is very painful because i had a rare stiff throat and i have to contact the doctor so the surgery is not bad at all, but the recovery is!
