from personal experience, it sucks. I have always been allergic to my pug, but I take prescription meds. to deal with it, and wash my hands after I touch him.
In his old age he has taken to using our living room as a toilet, which is very weird for him, but he seems to be loosing his mind a bit (he's 13 and we wont re-home him). We try to clean it as well as we can, but short of having the carpets cleaned professionally (we can, it's our family business) there's not much you can do about it, even then I would seriously consider replacing the carpet completely.
It's gotten to the point that my Asthma acts up when I sit in our living room for more than a few hours. I feel like I'm getting a cold (that's how my asthma usually presents its self), and have been using my rescue inhaler about once a week for a few weeks now, and we're preparing to clean the carpets for the second time in two months. When the little dear's time comes, we're replacing our carpets, but not a moment sooner. Avoid this situation at all costs!
yes, especially people with asthma
well asthma has been said to come through dust and carpets etc. but why do you get it in Africa because you don't have all these things we do so it is believed for it to be carried through genes
Not to take it seriosly. ASTHMA CAN KILL YOU!!
yes it can sometimes depending on how severe your asthma is, this should not stop you from laughing as this only happens in some people with asthma
Asthma is not contagious. There is no risk of 'catching' the condition. It may mean live style adjustment to eliminate asthma triggers, such as dust free conditions and making smart choices in furnishings, cushions and carpets may need to be kept to a minimum. And hot and moist climates can be problematic.
you become an idiot.

the worst is you can have an asthma attack, and die. but if you do you can grow out of asthma!!!!!!!!! i should know i use to have it, not any more
Some people have exercise-induced asthma, which is asthma that happens when you are exercising. Asthma is when you start nwheezing and coughing, and you can't breathe. Most people who have asthma will get an asthma pump, a tool used to help you breathe better. If you exercise vigorously, you may run out of breath, and asthmatic people have the tendency to start wheezing and have an asthma attack.
Your question reads like you want asthma. You don't. When an attack happens you can't breathe and people have died with an attack.
Carpet can trap allergens like dust mites, pet dander, and mold spores, which can trigger asthma symptoms in individuals sensitive to these allergens. Regular cleaning and vacuuming of carpets can help reduce these triggers and improve indoor air quality for asthma sufferers. Some people with asthma find it helpful to remove carpeting and opt for hard flooring surfaces instead to minimize exposure to allergens.
