This stage is very dangerous, upon spotting a possible symptom of prostate cancer head to the emergency room or call the doctor. Be proactive and take steps to ensure you get any needed medical care.

BY stage 4, you will have already gone thru some form of chemotherapy or radiation therapy and possibly some surgery to try to save the parts of your lung still usable by removing the bad ones. Short of a miracle or lung transplant, you probably don't have long to live.

Also, this is a very open ended question, are you talking medically? Like what should you expect the body to do during the last moments?

Again, hospice can guide you through this and be there for you so it is not so difficult to take in.

It can be both scarey and peaceful. With lung cancer, hoping that it has not metastasized beyond pain control, is not a difficult transition. Pain is controlled and so is anxiety near the end.

Remember, you are in control. You say when it is time. NOT the cancer.
