Well, from my experiences, it's nothing to worry about as long as there isn't any severe cramping along with it or passing of tissue. Spotting in the first month especially is normal due to the implantaion of the fertilized egg, but if it heavy and lasts a long time, i would see my doctor. You can never be too careful.
