Hi, Its not uncommon for periods to arrive 2-3 days earlier than usual. Yes the first day of your period is as soon as the bleeding starts, whether it be spotting or heavy flow.
The day when flow begins, not spotting
Can implantation bleeding be heavy until you need napkins? Btw the spotting of brownish blood contains clots, can implantation bleeding consists of clots?
It's the first day of spotting/flow. I had light spotting this month & thought it was implantation bleeding. But it ended up being a very light period (and all of the PG tests were negative). If you think it might be implantation bleeding, take a HPT 6 or so days after it's done. It takes 4 full days for the embryo to implant, then another few days for the HCG to be detected in urine.
One day of heavy bleeding is typically not considered spotting; it is usually classified as a menstrual period or abnormal bleeding. Spotting refers to light bleeding that occurs outside of a regular menstrual cycle, often characterized by a very light flow. If heavy bleeding occurs unexpectedly or lasts longer than usual, it may indicate an underlying issue and should be discussed with a healthcare provider.
Does spotting or actual flow signify the beginning of menstruation? These are several days apart for me so if is difficult to know when I am supposed to be ovulating.
Spotting before you get a heavier flow is very normal...If you are normally like clockwork and you only have spotting and do not get a regular flo within the next 3-4 days then it is very possible that you are pregnant and that the spotting is implantation bleeding.
It would be safer to start the day you're spotting.
Start counting your period from the day you see the spotting if this happens every month. You could also do basal body temperature which will pinpoint ovulation, or use the Billings method.
No it is not.. The first day of a full flow is considered the first day of your cycle.NO! because it is just spotting not your real period it might be a sign of your period beginning to approach!
This is completely normal. Most women have a much heavier flow the first few days of their period, and then the flow gets lighter and lighter for the last few days.
spottings a sign of pregnancy possibly..
