Morton's Neuroma is a common foot problem associated with pain, swelling and/or an inflammation of a nerve, usually at the ball-of-the-foot between the 3rd and 4th toes. Symptoms of this condition include sharp pain, burning, and even a lack of feeling in the affected area. Morton's Neuroma may also cause numbness, tingling, or cramping in the forefoot. Morton's Neuroma is a foot condition caused from an abnormal function of the foot that leads to bones squeezing a nerve usually between the 3rd and 4th metatarsal heads. Symptoms of Morton's Neuroma often occur during or after you have been placing significant pressure on the forefoot area, while walking, standing, jumping, or sprinting. This condition can also be caused by footwear selection. Footwear with pointed toes and/or high heels can often lead to a neuroma. Constricting shoes can pinch the nerve between the toes, causing discomfort and extreme pain. The first step in treating Morton's Neuroma is to select proper footwear. Footwear with a high and wide toe box (toe area) is ideal for treating and relieving the pain. The next step in treatment is to use an orthotic designed with a metatarsal pad. This pad is located behind the ball-of-the-foot to unload pressure, and relieve the pain caused by the neuroma. If problem persists, consult your foot doctor.

Reflexology may provide some relief for Morton's neuroma by promoting relaxation and improving circulation in the feet. While it may help alleviate pain and discomfort temporarily, it is not a substitute for medical treatment. It's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for a comprehensive approach to managing Morton's neuroma. Individual responses to reflexology can vary, so results may differ from person to person.

NO Cure but keeping a journal of what you do and how it affects the pain will help b/c you'll learn to stop doing the things that cause the pain.
Initial treatment focuses on relieving the pressure on the affected nerve. This can be with arch supports and/or Corticosteroid injections. If that fails, surgery to remove a piece of nerve tissue can be performed.
The suffix of the word neuroma is oma. The suffix oma is used to denote swelling. Neuroma is a tumor of nerve tissue.

Having a longer middle toe compared to the other toes is known as the 'Greek foot' or 'Morton's toe'. This is a common variation of foot structure and is not usually a cause for concern. It can sometimes be associated with certain conditions like Morton's neuroma, but in most cases, it is simply a natural variation in foot anatomy.
As the tumors keep on growing a young person who develops acoustic neuroma will almost always eventually develop symptoms from it.
