A pea-sized lump on the front left side of your neck could be a swollen lymph node, a cyst, or a benign growth. It is important to have it evaluated by a healthcare provider to determine the cause and appropriate treatment. If the lump is painful, rapidly growing, or associated with other symptoms, seek medical attention promptly.
everyone has one.
Any lump in, on or near the testes needs medical examination because some lumps can be very dangerous. Remember - testicular cancer can be cured if treated early enough! However, if what you describe has been present for a long time, is quite solid to the touch and remains the size of a pea, then it is probably an epididymal cyst. They are completely harmless. Further information at http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/ask_doctor/epididymal_cyst.shtml Each testicle has a small "tube" connected to it that carries the semen. Right where the tube connects to the testicle, it will feel like a tiny lump. To be safe, you should have a 10 second examination by your doctor to be sure. If the lump is on your scrotum and not in it, it could be a sebaceous cyst (a pimple). You can actually "pop it" or it will heal on its own in a couple of days. == ==
