Both anorexics and bulimics are cautious about how much they eat around other people and what kinds of foods they ingest. They do not like to eat around other people (secrecy is the name of the game). They both starve themselves for long periods of time (bulimics just make up for it by stuffing it all down later). They might appear bloated, but that is mostly bulimics due to water retention so I suppose it depends on how much the anorexic is vomiting.

Similarities between anorexics and bulimics?

Both anorexics and bulimics suffer from very dangerous, and potenetially deadly, easting disorders. In each case, the individual has a problem with food and how to deal / cope with food. Often, this stems from a problem with self-esteem, depression, and / or feelings they may have. Usually, both anorexics and bulimics will lose weight. Their bodies are also put in danger. Eating disorders can weaken the heart, liver, and kidneys to a dangerous level where they can experience organ failure. Muscles will begin to deteriorate, too.

Do bulimics get as tired as anorexics do?

Generally no because they do have a surge of sugar and therefore glucose and carbs, however in the long term they will, the difference being is that buliemics generally tend to be within their BMI or just over and therefore the fat stores that aneorexics do not have mean that buliemics will have slightly more energy. However both are as bad for the body as each other; bad for the heart, the teeth, the skin, they age the skin and complexion is duller and spottier and ofcourse can be fatal.

What important characteristic do the alkali metals ad alkaline earth metals have in common?

Thet are all highly reactive. They react with oxygen (air) , water and acids. The further down the Groups, they become more reactive, to the point of explosion. The metals react with oxygen to form the metal oxide (bases). The metals react with water to form metal hydroxides (alkalis) and hydrogen The metals react with acids to form chemical salts and hydrogen . In terms of reactivity, Francium , reacts the same as other Group (I) & (II) metals, but is not found in the 'open' lab. because it is also radio-active.
