A degenerative cyst on the right ulnar styloid is pain on the wrist opposite the thumb. This is typically a ganglion cyst which can be treated without surgery.
A degenerative subcortical cyst is a fluid-filled sac that forms beneath the cerebral cortex, often associated with age-related changes or degeneration of brain tissue. These cysts can result from various factors, including ischemia or trauma, and may not necessarily cause symptoms. In some cases, they can be detected incidentally on imaging studies. Treatment may not be required if the cysts are asymptomatic, but monitoring is essential to assess any changes over time.
The suffix in "degenerative" is "-ive".
A facetal cyst is a type of cyst that exists in the lumbar spine. This type of cyst is also referred to as a synovial cyst.
"degenerative arthritis" and "osteoarthritis"
Cyst can turn out to be a pustule but a pustule cannot be a cyst.
There is no remedy for degenerative or ostesarthritis.
An extradural cyst is a fluid-filled sac located outside the dura mater, the outermost membrane covering the brain and spinal cord. These cysts can occur in various locations, often associated with the spine, and can result from conditions like trauma, infection, or degenerative changes. They may be asymptomatic or cause symptoms such as pain or neurological deficits if they compress surrounding structures. Diagnosis typically involves imaging studies, and treatment options may include observation or surgical intervention depending on the cyst's size and symptoms.
Facet arthropathy is a degenerative condition affecting the facet joints in the spine at the L4-L5 level. A synovial cyst may form due to increased pressure within the joint. Treatment options may include pain management, physical therapy, and in severe cases, surgery to alleviate pressure on the nerve roots.
