hair folicle
A follicle is a small cavity or sac that holds a developing egg in the ovary. In the context of hair, a follicle is a tunnel-shaped structure in the skin from which hair grows.
Hair has color when you are first born. Of course because you are just beginning to use the melanin, the thing that gives your hair it's color. Each hair has a different folicle that they grow in under the skin. Each folicle has it's own amount of melanin. When you get older, that folicle has less melanin and can't make enough to give your hair it's color. That's when your hair turns white or gray, when the hair folicle loses all or most of it's melanin.
No, they test the folicle.
yes
Because as our hair grows out from the folicle each strand becomes dead hair. There is no pain involved in cutting our hair.
the size of your hair folicle --- sometimes off herdity too...
a hair folicle is the root of the hair which is located in the lower part of the dermis. It is also connected to the arrector pili muscle. Hair is better known as the hair shaft and is the part inside of the hair folicle that comes out through the very top layer of skin and only fractionally protects our skin from sunlight
Well, the cells that make up hair are dead, so that is why they do not feel pain when trimmed. But they are attached to your scalp by folicles, or little bulbs that are under the skin, that keep the hair in. That is why if you pull on your hair, it puts stress on the folicle, and is trying to force it out of the skin. But when your hair is ready to fall out, the folicle dies, so it doesn't feel any presure when falling out. Don't worry, plenty of hair grows in place of that hair that fell out! Hope that helped! :)
yes, i just passed a hair folicle test and i did smoke 2 hits about 60 days ago.
