A set of nine babies is commonly referred to as a "nonuplet." Nonuplets are extremely rare, and the term specifically describes a group of nine offspring born at one time from the same pregnancy. The occurrence of nonuplets is very uncommon compared to other multiples like twins or triplets.
A set of twins (2 babies) is called twins. Seven sets would still be twins. 7 babies born together (not twins) would be called septuplets.
Twins = 2 babies Triplets =3 babies Quadruplets =4 babies Quintuplets = 5 babies Sextuplets = 6 babies Septuplets = 7 babies Octuplets = 8 babies Nonuplets = 9 babies Decuplets (10)
The correct term for nine babies at once is Nonuplets.

they're called babies!
Truly, no-one has ever had nine babies born at the same time. If they had, they'd probably be called nonuplets or nonaplets. There have been 2 women that I know of who have given birth to 9 babies in the one pregnancy, a Malaysian woman and an Australian, sadly none of the babies survived. I do believe they are called nonuplets.
