I have one to!! It is on my left knee, very red, gotten bigger by the hour, and has a white center? Does that sound like what you have? I can't sit-up on my knees either. I'm looking for a cure & need some help. I've heard about putting a warm washcloth on it to 5-10 minutes. About to try it!!

It is a ingrown hair you just have to pop it and it will hurt for as couple days but make sure you get all the puss out of it or it will hurt like hell!

Bump in the back of my head that is hard and it really hurts it feels like its full of fluid?

It's common and it's similar to 'water on the knee.' When the body becomes dehydrated, particularly hot or the person is standing for a long length of time this can cause 'water on the knee.' In the case of the bump on your head you have something similar, but, anything to do with the head should be checked out by a specialist to be sure there is no other injuries to the head. Please don't assume this is like water on the knee and do nothing about it. Any bump or lump should be checked out by your doctor and generally everything is just fine and it will put your mind to rest.

What is this large hard bump on knee cap?

Technically, your knee is not comprised of just one bone. It's a joint, which allows movement. The femur and then the tibia and fibula meet under the kneecap, which is known as the patella. There are arteries, veins and nerves that are located alongside and on top of the knee joint. If these are injured in any way, it is a surgical emergency, and could possibly lead to death. The purpose of the patella is to protect the arteries, veins and nerves, and in turn, protecting a person's life.

When you bump your knee why does a bump appear?

When you bump your knee (or other body parts) there is some damage to the various tissues involved. The body has two main types of fluids that constantly circulate, which are blood and lymph. When there is damage to the body, these fluids tend to leak out of their normal pathways and vessels, and to pool in the damaged area. Bumps are formed as a result of added fluid. Eventually the excess fluid will be reabsorbed into its normal circulation, and the bump will heal.
