MILD I myself have ADHD and its not that bad im normal all that is different about me is that i am always energetic and have trouble paying attention in class and to other people but it is also good because most of the time people with ADHD are inventors because i personally think about alot of things im not paying attention in class. And alot of people have this disibility. and i think it is mild because all that we cant do is pay attention but we are always energetic which is a good thing because im always jumping around and losing weight and i could pay attention for a time but i just without even knowing it am not paying attention.
The worst category for a disorder/disability would be profound.
ANY disorder or disability can vary in severity on a scale generally classified as mild, moderate, or severe. Other professionals might use the word profound in place of severe, for example: "profound developmental delays".

Mild learning disabilities include ADD and ADHD.
The severity of disabilities—mild, moderate, severe, or profound—varies based on the individual's functional abilities and support needs. Generally, profound disabilities are considered the most severe, as they significantly limit a person's capacity to perform daily activities and require extensive support. However, the impact of a disability also depends on various factors, including the individual's environment, access to resources, and personal strengths. It's important to recognize that each person's experience is unique, and categorizing disabilities strictly can overlook their complexities.
The severity of ADHD is determined by analyzing the amount symptoms they possess, and how these various symptoms interact to create problems in a person's daily day-to-day functioning. A person who has ADHD and is unable to function within work, school, and interpersonal relationships would have a severe case of ADHD. A person with some forgetfulness but who could still maintain healthy relationships and a job would be considered to have a mild case of ADHD.
Class sizes for students with mild, moderate, severe, and profound disabilities can vary significantly based on the school district, available resources, and specific needs of the students. Typically, mild disability classes may have around 10-15 students, while moderate disabilities might range from 6-12. Severe and profound disability classes often have fewer students, usually around 3-8, to ensure more individualized attention and support. Ultimately, the class size is tailored to provide effective education while addressing the unique challenges faced by each group.
Mental retardation is defined as having an IQ below 70. For mild MR, scores are between 55 and 69. For moderate MR, IQ scores are between 40 and 55. In the case of severe MR, scores are between 25 and 40. And for profound MR, IQ scoring is below 25. (An IQ of 100 is average, with the norms going from 85-115 for approximately two thirds of the population. (Between 70 and 85, the term "borderline intellectual function" is designated.)
