It all depends on what type of "cataract" is being discussed.


Niagara falls could be a cataract. So could the gradual opacification that occurs in the lens of the eye as a natural result of aging. As such, the answer to you question could be any of the following:


1) Related to water:


waterfall, rapids, flood, torrent, cascade


2) Related to the lens in the eye:


nuclear sclerosis, cortical sclerosis, lens opacification
