Arthogriposis affects the muscles. The tendons are curved in shape. I know someone with this condition. His lower body is mostly affected by it. The legs are weak but the muscles are stiff to the point that his knees can't bend. His lungs are weak and easily get pnemonia. His jaw is stiff and doesn't open very far.
