Type 2 Diabetes is when the body is not able to produce enough insulin or the body's cells are not able to take up insulin.

Insulin is a substance that is produced when blood sugar level rises to take sugar into our cells. Blood sugar levels rise when body breaks down food into glucose to produce energy that allows us to live our days. However, with type two diabetes since it is either not producing enough insulin or the cells are not taking up the insulin it creates a giant build up of glucose within the body and that can lead to problems with your eyes, kidneys, nerves or heart.
