Below the enamel is the dentin or dentine you can call it one of those two it duznt matter and the dentin/dentine is between the cement and enamel.(below the enamel , on top of the cement.)
Calcium is a metal element present in tooth enamel.
It is one of the 4 components of the mammalian tooth and is to be found just beneath the hard enamel outer layer or in ridges between ridges of hard enamel. Being softer than the enamel, in herbivores (like the elephant) the dentine wears away faster ensuring that the roughness of the tooth surface is maintained as the tooth itself wears away. In omnivores and carnivores, it mechanically supports the enamel surface and protects the tooth pulp and nerves.

Into the gum just below the tooth, I'm not sure how specific you want it - they don't inject your tooth if that's what you're asking.
Don't use just any black marker; for one, it won't last and could be dangerous you your teeth and/or health! Absolutely it weakens your teeth because it contains to much caffeine that may leave too many holes in your teeth but if you want to drink coffee any time without getting many large holes in your teeth .you just have to brush your teeth . yes the sugar in soda is a MAJOR cause of tooth decayBut its indirect. Sugar itself does not harm tooth enamel. But sugar, in any food, feeds bacteria that live in your mouth. These bacteria multiply rapidly and they then secrete acids that dissolve tooth enamel. Good dental hygiene will kill most of the bacteria. Just cutting out sugar in sodas will not stop tooth decay as natural sugars are found in most foods.the other reason that tooth decay is caused by soda is the acidity. it is so acidic it can literally eat away at your teeth. people who drink 3 or more sugary sodas daily have 62% more tooth decay than people who dont.

i just learnt this, its: plaque is a sticky film of saliva, food particles and bacteria found on teeth. when the bacteria digests sugary food particals, they produce an acid that can dissalve tooth enamal. saliva has a neutralising effect on yhe acid because it is slightly basic(pH 7.4)
