Rashes unless seen by a doctor are hard to identify (even some doctors have a hard time figuring these pesky little things out.) If you are a man, wear jeans, this can be caused from your legs rubbing together (even dust from where you work) and it can cause a rash on the upper legs. It can also be small ingrown hairs (will go away in time.) If you work around chemicals, dust of any kind, the best thing to do is soak in a tub of epsom salts (it draws out the redness) and is also great for sunburns. Use body temperature water in your bath NOT hot water. There are some good skin creams you can get at your local pharmacy such as Lanacane that has a topical anesthetic in it and often takes the redness away. Also, if you are a woman and shave in this area, then it could be due to this. If you are a man and shave your legs in this area .... you've just given me a good laugh.
