The correct name is antacid. Indigestion is caused from stomach acid (from any of a number of conditions). The stomach acid needs neutralized (reduced). A base neutralizes acid in the stomach. An antacid does not cure the condition, but merely controls the symptoms of heartburn and indigestion.
A chloride salt is the resulting substance of neutralizing HCl. The exact type of salt depends upon what the acid was neutralized with.

The stomach acid does not dissolve in our organs because the stomach has a mucous layer that protects it and the acid is immediately neutralized by the bicarbonate in pancreatic fluid when it gets to the bowels.

It depends on what it reacts with. The resulting salt would be a compound between Nitrate (NO3) and the metal of the reacting base.
The only acid that I know in the stomach is: Gastric Acid(Which is made up of Hydrochloric Acid.)
Using any strong base the resultant compound would be a salt, plus water.
