Hereditary diseases are diseases that your parents set you up for by having a mutation in the DNA in either the sperm or the egg cell. You cannot do anything about this, I know it sucks, but sorry. When you get "made" from that DNA, all your cells get that mutation too-so you start getting that hereditary disease.

Non-hereditary diseases don't really have anything to do with you inheriting a DNA mutation but they can be caused by a DNA mutation (some cancers). Or, you can get something like cholera from drinking water that's been contaminated with a specific kind of bacteria (from poop/other sources). There are many others like you can get liver "disease" from drinking too much alcohol. You cannot pass on non-hereditary diseases to your children through making them (put if you poo in water that they drink and you have Cholera, they will get Cholera.)

I hope this helps you.

Is a Hereditary monarch the head of state with limited powers?

A monarch with limited powers is something separate from hereditary monarchy. A hereditary monarch is a system of governance where a person inherits the kingdom from someone in his family. A monarch with limited powers is a system of governance where the monarch can only do certain types of activities because others are prohibited by law. You can have a hereditary monarchy with unlimited powers, like Saudi Arabia. You can have a hereditary monarchy with limited powers, like Spain. You can have a non-hereditary monarchy with unlimited powers, like some previous African Kingdoms (the King was an appointed position). You can have a non-hereditary monarchy with limited powers, but this is only theoretical as there has never been such a monarchy in history.
