Plaques are formed mainly due to sedentary life style. The plaque gradually gets bigger and bigger. Blood flows in turbulent form near and after the plaques. One fine morning the platelets get attached to the plaques. The damaged platelets favours formation of the blood clot. You get severe chest pain. You feel suffocated and get profuse perspiration. No body has told you, for no known reason that you should take soluble aspirin tablet in that case. (Soluble aspirin is absorbed fast and prevents the heart attack, earlier. You can crush the available aspirin and take it.) By the time you reach the family physician, two hours are gone by. By the time you reach the cardiac care unit, four hours are passed. Most of the patients of heart attack, who die, die by this time. Most of the rest are going to survive. Then you go for angioplasty or by pass surgery. Then you live a life, without much life. It is better that you do some sort regular exercise and prevent the plaque formation in your blood vessels.
