There is more than one reason for lack of Potassium in the body. The most common is not getting enough in your diet. Second is your body is not absorbing Potassium when it does get it due to other health reasons. Your body could be flushing out the Potassium too quickly ( urinating frequently) Lack of Potassium can cause Heart Attacks. Serious business.
