Mila Kunis basically fits this description but she has one blue eye one green eye :)
If you could see the image projected onto the retina of the eye by the lens, it would be of the environment that the person in question is looking at, but upside down.
I guess the Eye would fit that description fairly well.
Commonly called 'sleep', however, lacrimal fluid would be a better and more scientific description. Some people also call them sleepies, sleepheads, and eye boogers(maxgreat calls them eye boogers).
