Intestines are a long, continuous tube running from the stomach to the anus. Absorption of nutrients and water happens in the intestines. The intestinal tract, include the small intestine, large intestine, and rectum.
The small intestine (small bowel) is approximately 20 to 22 feet long and about one inch in diameter. It moves continually. The small intestines job is to absorb most of the nutrients from what we eat and drink. Soft mucous tissue lines the inside of the small intestine, which is divided into the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum.
The large intestine (colon or large bowel) is about 5 feet long and about 3 inches in diameter. The colon absorbs water from fecal matter, creating stool. As stool enters the rectum, special nerves in there create the urge to defecate.
The function of the small intestine is to break down foods and the function of the large intestine is to clean out the food that are not absorbed as wastes.
From the stomach, the food moves into the small intestines. After the small intestines the food moves into the large intestines.

your stomach and small intestines break food down and anything that gets to your large intestines exits your body through the anus
The intestines are a tissue from your body.
The large intestines function is to digest your food.
The small intestines absorb the nutrients out of your food. The stomach leads to the small intestine and the small intestine leads to the large intestine. The large intestine absorbs water, and then the food goes to the rectum.
Water is collected throughout the body. Water, vitamins, and salt are absorbed in the small intestines. Fluid added to the small intestines to aid digestion is also pulled back out partly in the large intestines.

it can cause the small intestines to stretch but i dont know about the large intestines
Stomach -> Small Intestines -> Large Intestines -> Through Anus and out of the body
The large intestines "soaks up" the nutrients and the small intestines packs and stored the waste.
