The descending structure between the front teeth is called the frenulum or frenum. Having a large or pronounced one is not unusual.
You do not have joint between gum and tooth, The joint between the tooth and bone is called gomphosis.
You will have to move the teeth unless veneers are an option. Consult your dentist. They can invisalign just the front/uppers & it may not be much more than veneers.

The gum that remains after all teeth are extracted are called residual ridges, or simply ridges.
Chewing gum can and does stick to dental work in the teeth. Teeth are usually covered with a biofilm of bacteria that prevent the gum from sticking.Ê
the sugar in the gum can wear your teeth down :(
Calculus is the very hard stuff that forms on your teeth in areas that are not brushed or flossed properly. Also called tartar, it usually develops between teeth and at the gum line. Brushing can not get rid of it. A dentist (or assistant or hygienist?) needs to scrape it of manually. If left alone it can lead to gum disease eventually leading to loss of teeth.
1. form the gum into a ball using your tongue. try not to chew it 2. stick you tongue in it as if you were going to blow a bubble. BUT DO NOT ACTUALLY BLOW 3. take the flatten piece of gum and stick it between your top front teeth and your gum. the other end should be a little in the miggle of your mouth. 4. suck air into your mouth and there should be a popping sound. ~GOOD LUCK~ Hints: -chewing gum is better than buble gum -don't make the gum too thin or too thick...if its too thick it wont pop...if its too thin it will make a very low popping sound -don't let the gum between your teeth and your gum come out hope this helps
Flossing cleans any food particles stuck between teeth. If those food particles are not cleaned, they will cause cavity between teeth and also cause your gum and bone to go away leading to gum disease.
I assume you mean GUM, and not GUN. Chewing gum does not effectively clean your teeth.
