What is the normal duration of menses?

That depends on the woman. Some women have three-day periods, some five-day and some seven and some have other durations. There's no one set duration. *another answer* It also depends on how long you've had your periods. I got mine when I had just turned 12, and they were really irregular and lasted for different amounts of time. Im fifteen now and I get my periods every four weeks and they last for about 5 days. But when you only just get your periods dont expect them to arrive every 28 days like clockwork :)
