100-125 is considered pre-diabetic.

Two fasting blood sugar tests of 126 or above is confirmed diabetic.

The normal amount in a non-diabetic person should be between 90 and 120. It shouldn't go below or above these numbers.

I have gestational Diabetes... I have been told that I need to keep my fasting blood sugar below 90, but definitely above 70. If my sugar reaches 65 or lower, they told me that I need to drink a glass of juice right away. My after-meal sugars should be under 140. Remember, after-meal blood sugars need to be taken 1 hour after the first bite of food, not after finishing the meal.
