Explain the digestive functions of the liver?
liver do many function of our body like to produce digestive enzymes and many other function
Its main function within the digestive system is to process the nutrients absorbed from the small intestine.
The liver is an organ and is part of the digestive organ system
liver
The digestive system is linked directly to the excretory system via the liver. This organ serves an important function in both systems.
The liver produces digestive juices , that helps in the digestion.
The hepatic cecum is part of the digestive tract. It apparently functions both to secrete digestive juices and to help absorb nutrients from the food. "Hepatic" means it relates to the liver. Although Starfish do not have a liver, the hepatic cecum may be similar to the liver of vertebrates.
As in mammals, the liver in birds is primarily involved in creating digestive enzymes to secrete into the intestines as well as filtering the blood of certain classes of molecules to detoxify them.
The liver and pancreas do not directly receive food particles, but play important roles in the digestive process. The liver produces bile to help digest fats, while the pancreas produces enzymes that break down carbohydrates, proteins, and fats in the small intestine.
The organs are the kidneys and the liver. The excretory system excretes waste out of the body. It works with the digestive system
