Yes, it IS possible. It depends on each women. Some women say they feel a slight pain or a certain type of 'cramp' when they ovulate (release the egg) but most cannot tell at all. It is not painful in and of itself and is nothing to worry about though. If you could feel it, it is normal unless it is some sharp or abnormal pain. Then you should see your OB/GYN doctor at once.
the ovulation
whereby an ovum or egg is released from an ovary
One egg cell is released each month.
As long as the egg does not get fertilized it will come.
no. it can be random. :-)
During fertilization, the sperm penetrates the egg by releasing enzymes that break down the outer layer of the egg, allowing the sperm to enter and fuse with the egg's nucleus. This fusion combines the genetic material of the sperm and egg to form a new cell, called a zygote, which will develop into a new organism.

Follicle development plays a crucial role in ovulation by nurturing and releasing the egg. During the menstrual cycle, follicles in the ovaries mature and one dominant follicle releases a mature egg during ovulation. This process is essential for fertility and the ability to conceive.
This process is called Transpiration.
Ovulation is the process where an ovum (or egg) ruptures from a mature follicle. During the heat cycle, the follicle matures and the side opposite of the egg bulges and becomes thin. This thin tissue ruptures, releasing the egg from the ovaries and moves it into the oviduct. Ovulation occurs ~12 hours after standing heat in the cow.
