I- Olefactory (sensory): smell.
II- Optic (sensory): vision.
The Olfactory nerve. CN1 Cranial Nerve I, or the first cranial nerve called the Olfactory nerve.
Trigeminal nerve is CN V.
Its the first cranial nerve called the olfactory.
The cranial nerve pair that passes through the optic foramina is the optic nerves, also known as cranial nerve II. These nerves transmit visual information from the retina of the eye to the brain. The optic foramina are openings in the sphenoid bone that allow the optic nerves to enter the cranial cavity, where they partially cross at the optic chiasm.
The vagus nerve is the 10th cranial nerve, also known as cranial nerve X.
The cranial nerve pair being tested by asking the patient to stick out their tongue is the hypoglossal nerve (CN XII). Dysfunction of this nerve can result in a deviation of the tongue towards the affected side, weakness or atrophy of the tongue muscles, and difficulty with speech and swallowing.
Smell impulses are carried by the cranial nerve called the olfactory nerve (cranial nerve I). It is responsible for transmitting information about odors from the nose to the brain.
The optic nerve (cranial nerve II) is not involved in taste, as its primary function is vision. Taste is primarily mediated by the facial nerve (cranial nerve VII), glossopharyngeal nerve (cranial nerve IX), and vagus nerve (cranial nerve X).
The olfactory nerve, also known as the first cranial nerve, transports impulses for sense of smell to the brain. The olfactory nerve is capable of regeneration.

Cranial Nerve 2 - Optic Nerve
The second cranial nerve is the optic nerve.
