Leukoplakia are white spots or patches that develop on the tongue or the inside of the cheek. Many people are affected by these white spots and they can easily be treated by your primary care physician.
Koplik's spots are tiny spots occurring inside the mouth, especially on the inside of the cheek. These spots consist of minuscule white dots (like grains of salt or sand) set onto a reddened bump. Unique to measles.
If this is what the white spots are under my eye then yes its painful, with pain radiating down my cheek and around my eye :(

The pathognomonic sign of measles ( Rubeola, 7-day measles) is the KOPLIK'S SPOTS. Koplik's Spots are lesions found in the inner cheek 1 to 2 days before the rashes appear on the skin.
Distal spots are spots of color that appear inside a white marking on the lower leg (such as a sock or stocking). Distal spots are above the fetlock, as opposed to ermine spots, which are below the fetlock.
