Tourettes Syndrome is a neorological disorder characterized by involuntary body movements (motor tics),which can make the individual violent, and vocal outbursts (vocal tics),which can make the individual curse and swear and have outbursts of obscenities. The individual, most of the time,is not aware of doing these things and when they are aware of doing them, then it can be quite embarrassing, which can then make the individual worsen. It is known that being under increased stress brings on the tourettes but the absolute cause of Tourettes is unknown and no cure yet exists yet there are ways to lessen the symptoms (i.e medication, therapy, and alternative treatments). It should also be noted that most persons with Tourettes do not require medication. As for how it is passed on through birth, well the symptoms vary in severity from having no more than minor patterns of repetitive behaviour, motor ticks,to the most notorious syptom of an uncontrollable urge to utter swearwords and obscenities, though I cannot see it being this as we would probably all have some form of tourettes that has been passed down through the years as it is more common than you may think,it's just sometimes not very severe. The best thing you can do about finding out about how it can be passed on through birth really would be to speak to a doctor.
Genetics are a cause of heart disease; parents with a higher risk of heart disease will give birth to offspring of heart disease. The trait of heart disease is then passed down from generation to generation.
The only way one can get a genetic disease is by inheriting it through one's parents. Genetic diseases and sicknesses aren't contagious, except through birth.
The three stages that all the human beings have to pass through include birth, life and death.
Kelly's son, Hunter, had Krabbe Disease and passed away at the age of 8 in 2005. Krabbe Disease is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system that destroys cells in the brain. There is no cure and, if present at birth, usually causes death by the age of 2.
Antibodies are passed from a mother to her baby through the placenta during pregnancy and through breast milk after birth. This transfer of antibodies helps protect the baby from infections until their own immune system develops.
The difference between hereditary and genetic is that hereditary is inherited. Genetic is dealing with cells and genes. hereditary means its coming from the previous generation example grand ma . mom father ,and has to do with health, genetic means its in the genes example as result of back round ancestry makes up your looks hair ,eye color , could be from mixture af all genes of different people grandfathered from way back in the past.
A "congenital" disease is one that someone has from birth.
There was a plague outbreak in Stratford near the time of Shakespeare's birth, but the point is that he did not catch the disease, which is why he survived.
Since by vector I assume you mean organism/mechanism like air or water that carries it, Tourette's Syndrome has no vectors. Tourette's Syndrome is an autosomal (chromosomal) dominant genetic disorder that is passed down through the hereditary line, much like other dominant characteristics, for example brown eyes. You are either born with latent (dormant) Tourette's, or you don't have it. Tourette's is almost exclusively dormant at birth, and does not show symptoms until 4-6 years later.
Congenital heart disease
Sharks are the only fish that have live birth. Therefore, the pups are carried by the mother during gestation and then passed through the cloaca.
no, it has to be passed on to you by a parent
