Many people get headaches after napping. The reasons for this are many. If you take a long nap, you may cause yourself to become dehydrated or have low blood sugar. Also, the body wants balance - and disturbing your normal sleep patterns with a nap can trigger a migraine.

In fact, while all of the above reasons can contribute to tension headaches, they also can trigger migraines.
