Shingles : is caused by a virus name varicella zoster virus (VZV), and it is the same virus cause chickenpox.

After an individual has chickenpox, this virus lives dormant in the nervous system and is never fully cleared from the body. Under certain circumstances, such as emotional Stress, immune deficiency (from AIDS or Chemotherapy), or with Cancerthe virus reactivates and causes shingles.

so we can say that if you have chickenpox before, and you take medication that weakens you immune system ( immune-suppressant medications ) this may reactivate the virus and cause the shingles

Example of those medications :

-Gluco-corticosteroid ( Cortisone )

-Chemotherapy drugs ( like methotrexate )

and others..
