A pea sized bump by the ear is likely to be your lymph node. You have hundreds of them all over your body. They are flat, round and about the size of a pea.

The little bump on the outside of the ear that when pressed closes the ear is called the tragus. It helps to protect the ear canal and is involved in directing sound into the ear.
My sister got her ear pierced and she had an allergic reaction to it, so she had to take the ring out. When it healed, it grew a small bump on the front side of her ear. The doctor said that it is not going to hurt her, just to leave it alone. Did you just have your ears pierced? If so, that might be it. Good luck:)
This "bump" might be a variety of things. Unfortunately we can't look into our own ears to make a decision. Bring this to your primary doctor's attention and let him make an educated decision as to whether something needs to be done about that bump.

Go and ask a doctor
Some people get a form of cyst after they pierce their ears; it's usually with piercings close to the top of the ear and it's usually from the back. It might not necessarily be a problem, however, people who develop this are often told to take out the earring or not to get more piercings there.
It'll usually be red and puffy, it will hurt, there might be a small bump next to or near the ear piercing, and/or a bunch of white stuff comes out of the ear piercing.excessive redness / pain / swelling - the first signs. It will be like a huge very hard zit around the holeand it will be pussy and red.
You might have a brain tumour. Consult your doctor.
If you have more than one piercing on your left ear....Lets say three or four, there will be a bump, it's natural. As for the headaches, just take some asprin/tylenol because it most likely means that your ear is hurting, but it feels like your head is hurting.
A large bump on the back of your head/ear could be anything. If you are having dizziness and headaches, you will need to go to a doctor. They can do a biopsy on the bump to get a diagnoses.
i have one and have been to the doctor for it mine is alot bigger now and sometimes it gets hard and feels like it spreads well i talk to a doctor and he said it was a cyst and not to worry about it
