An antagonist muscle reverses the action of a prime mover. The prime mover for knee flexion is biceps femoris, semimembranosus, and semitendinosus. The prime mover for knee extension is the Quadriceps â?? vastus lateralis, vastus medialis, vastus intermedius, and rectus femoris
