The average resting pulse rate for adults is anywhere between 60 - 100 beats per minute. However, if you exercise regularly enough, your resting pulse rate could very well be lower than 60. This is nothing to worry about. It simply means your heart doesn't have to work as hard to push blood to the rest of your body.
If you are not exercising 100 beats per minute is very high. Anything over 100 beats per minute for an adult is considered high by medical professionals and by definition is known as tachycardia. If you are exercising, 130 is normal and your heart can beat much faster than that in particularly strenuous exercise.
