The central nervous system.
The nervous system which also interprets information from sensory units
The brain, specifically the cerebral cortex, is responsible for interpreting messages received from the nervous system and determining appropriate actions to be taken. The cerebral cortex processes sensory information and orchestrates motor responses to stimuli.
The organism... although at a lesser level all types of nervous tissue.
the central nervous system
The nervous system detects information inside and outside your body.
The brain is the main organ of the nervous system. It processes and interprets information received from sensory receptors throughout the body, controls voluntary and involuntary actions, and allows us to think, feel, learn, and remember.
Central nervous system.
The nervous system takes in sensory information from the peripheral nervous system. This information is then directed to the central nervous system which then responds with a motor reaction that travels back to the peripheral nervous system.
Motor Neurons and the chemical and electrical interactions between them carry information from the central nervous system to tissues.
Information entering the central nervous system from the external environment is called external stimuli. External stimuli are factors which are detected by the body and communicated to the central nervous system such as temperature and scents.
