Wow, I haven't thought about that one in a while! In my experience, which I admit is limited, the "love is blind", "puppy love" stage starts to fade, I start to see my significant other for who they really are, and I begin to get a pretty good idea of whether or not I want to continue a relationship with this person. I used to think of the six month mark in a relationship as the "make it or break it" point. By then, I had a pretty good idea what my significant other was about, and I could usually tell whether or not we were going to last as a couple. To tell the truth, even if the answer turned out to be negative, I still stayed with the person, mostly because it felt good, that is, until they cheated on me, or I started noticing that they had a desire for somebody else. I'm pretty good at picking up those sorts of vibes.

Now for the sermon bit. If I have any advice to give, it's to depend on no one but yourself for your own happiness; you can't change another human being, so don't try...they'll only resent you for it in the long run, I know I would. Know Thyself as best you can, and listen to that little voice in your head. And for heaven's sake enjoy it while it lasts! And for God's sake, wear some protection!!! And if they end up breaking your heart, then you've passed the first major test of life, and believe me, you'll be a lot stronger person, just as long as you give yourself some time to heal. You'll know what you DON't want from future relationships. Now here's the hardest part...keep a positive outlook in the face of uncertainty.

What should you do after saying i love you and she doesnt say it back?

It depends on how long youve been dating, if its 1-2(or somtimes more) weeks, then she might just not be ready for that yet. If youve been together for 2 months or more then, you need to ask her if she wants to move on with the relationship. She might like you alot but you guys might not be right for eachother if she doesnt know if she loves you..the best thing to do is talk to her..
