The endocrine system controls and coordinates body activities and it is made up of ductless glands and some diffuse tissues. Diffuse tissues are cells within organs and tissues that secrete hormones. So, the answer would have to be glandular tissue and diffuse tissue.
The four major tissue types in the body are epithelial tissue, connective tissue, muscle tissue, and nervous tissue. Epithelial tissue covers body surfaces and lines cavities; connective tissue supports and connects tissues and organs; muscle tissue enables movement; and nervous tissue transmits electrical signals throughout the body.
The major controlling system of the body is the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. It controls and coordinates all bodily functions through electrical signals sent between nerve cells. The endocrine system also plays a significant role in regulation through the release of hormones into the bloodstream.
