There are a number of factors that could cause the eyeball to be enlarged and all of them would prompt medical attention. If it is the tissue or skin around the eyeball, ie the eye lids, then usually cool rags or an over the counter allergy medicine. If either one persist, you should still seek medical attention. I had this problem, i was in my math lesson and my teacher came up to me and said that my right eye was huge... the school sent me to A+E and they did LOADS of tests on me :S .... I had to have a MMR scan and all sorts, it concluded that they did not know why it had swollen up so i had to go and see all sorts of fancy eye specalists..... they had no idea what was wrong and the swelling went down.. but to this day anytime i apply pressure to my right eye it swells up for a couple of days it is rather annoying .
