U should expect not to b in any pain, first off. If its a planned one the docs may opt for a spinal block instead of an epideral bc with an epideral it might risk a dead nerve, which mean there may be a spot that is not numbed and causes u to feel pain during the procedure. Of course, in emergencies they will give extra epideral. Before they cut u, the doc will test to see if u r numb with pointed prongs. Its rare if u feel the procedure, but I had a friend who did. U will be fine. The c section will be quick, quicker in er situations. U won't feel too much pain. Sometimes, they will leave the iv epideral running and u will have a standing order for some percecet or some other narcotic. Some ppl will shiver when not cold or itch bc of the iv medication. This is a normal response and u will have a standing order for benedryl. Expect not to eat bc they can't feed u until they know u will keep down food and ur bowel sounds return. It is not uncommon for u to vomit the first fe hours. U will bleed less than thos who had vaginal births, and bleeding will increase as u increase ur activity. Recovery time is longer compared to vaginal births. Any more questions? If so, ask. I'm a nurse who had four c sections!
During a c section, you should not feel any pain, however you will probably feel a tugging and stretching sensation as the doctors pull the baby out
When you get a hysterectomy you will be having your uterus removed and possibly your ovaries as well. The incision will be made as if you are having a C-Section.
Princess Diana did not have a scheduled C-section for her pregnancies. However, during her first pregnancy with Prince William, there were concerns about the possibility of needing a C-section due to her elevated blood pressure. Ultimately, she delivered William naturally, but her experience highlighted the medical challenges she faced during her pregnancies.

Yes, Queen Elizabeth II underwent a cesarean section (C-section) during the birth of her youngest child, Prince Edward, in 1964. This was a relatively uncommon procedure at the time, especially for royal births. The decision was made due to complications that arose during labor.
A cesarean section is also called a C-section.

C-Section
Yes, babies are born in amniotic fluid during a C-section, just as they are in a vaginal birth. The amniotic sac may be intact or broken before the procedure, but if it is still intact, the surgeon will usually rupture it during the operation. This fluid provides a protective environment for the baby and helps with the birthing process, whether through C-section or vaginal delivery.
