they are two types of glia cells. oligodendrocytes are responsible for the myelination of neurons in the central nervous system. swan cells perform the same function but in the peripheral nervous system.
Sensory neurons are typically unipolar in structure. This means they have a single process, or neurite, that extends from the cell body and splits into two branches, one leading to the peripheral nervous system and one leading to the central nervous system.

The two types of peripheral nervous system are the somatic nervous system, which controls voluntary movements, and the autonomic nervous system, which regulates involuntary bodily functions like heart rate and digestion.

Peripheral System is a division of the Nervous System. They have 2 types of cells. The sensory nervous cells carry information to the central nervous system; and the motor nervous cells carry information from the central nervous system. The Peripheral System is also divided into the somatic nervous system (controls the voluntary muscles) and the automatic nervous system (controls involuntary muscles).
