The major dangers of the plague is that you died. Most people died within the first few days after coming down with the disease. The next, for the living, was how to get rid of all the bodies and the pollution the dead bodies caused. Whole blocks of towns and cities died in days. Thousands died in weeks and 3/4 of the world died. This meant that people who did certain jobs were gone, stores closed, and the people who grew and reaped the crops were gone. The people that were left had to learn how to take care of things they may not have known how to do. Think about what it would be like if half of your town died and there was no one to replace them. Things would start to fall apart and break. It was the same way with the plague.
