Whether the tumor is cancerous or not it can grow rapidly and cause serious problems and some tumors have roots or 'feelers' which can tangle throughout other organs. This is something you MUST discuss with your doctor or specialist. If they suggest it be removed then it should be. Be prepared for a 'yes' from your doctor and before you keep your appointment with the doctor write down any questions you may have and then write the answers down. If you don't understand what the doctor is saying, don't be afraid to ask him to repeat the answer or explain in a more simplified way. The more you know about it and any risks the better you will feel.
