I don't know first hand but have two adult children with a rare form of dwarfism. Life is very hard, my 31 year old daughter is very independent but gets stared at everywhere she goes. Its horrible. When we are together, I just stare back at the person. Why are people so rude. When we go out to eat, the waitress offers her a child's menu. I am always embarressed for her. She weighs 70 pounds and wears a child's size 10. Hates pink, very hard to find clothes to fit. A child's shoe size 2 without bows and buckels is very difficult. The thing is, she longs for the same thing everyone else does who is 31. Respect, Love, a career, a future, children, a car she can see out of. She has none of these things.
