The abutment teeth have been prepped (cut down and shaped) to receive the permanent bridge. They are sensitive because they are not supposed to be exposed to the environment as they are. Return to your dentist as soon as possible and have the temporary bridge re-cemented.
This is important: The temporary bridge not only protects those preps, it also holds them in place until the permanent bridge is placed. If the teeth shift, even a little, because the temporary bridge is missing, the permanent bridge will not fit! New impressions will have to be taken and another bridge will have to be made.
A floss threader is commonly used to help floss around a dental bridge. This accessory resembles a large needle with a threader at one end, allowing dental floss to be easily maneuvered under the bridge and between the abutment teeth. It simplifies the process of cleaning in hard-to-reach areas, ensuring effective oral hygiene around the bridge.
If you still have the temporary bridge in, it can be somewhat uncomfortable. However, it should be slight, not severe. If it is severe see the dentist. The temp may need to be adjusted. Once the permanent bridge is placed, you should have little to no pain soon after the bridge is placed.

Dental bridges are fixed dental prostheses used to replace one or more missing teeth. They consist of artificial teeth, known as pontics, which are held in place by dental crowns on the adjacent natural teeth or dental implants. Dental bridges help restore the function and aesthetics of the smile by filling in gaps left by missing teeth. They require proper oral hygiene maintenance to ensure longevity and prevent complications.
