I presume you are premenopausal and if you have unilateral SO then this will not put you into menopause as the other ovary will continue to work. If bilateral then you you go into immediate (surgical) menopause.
Menopause means a stopping of having periods. There IS no period blood.
Women stop having periods when they enter menopause. Some begin menopause in their 40's while others in their 50's. Early onset menopause (rare) can happen at any age but mostly in the late 20s early 30s. When perimenopause begins the cycle become irregular and several months may go by before there is another period. Finally, there is one last period and there is no more.
Menopause is only a term for the change that happens to women when they cease to be able to have babies. So if a woman has had a child or not she will usually go through the menopause at about late forties or fifties.
You stop having your period for 12 consecutive months.
Most women will usually begin perimenopause (irregular periods) sometime in their forties and approximately 2-4 years before menopause begins. Half of all women begin menopause by the age of 50. A woman enters menopause 12 months after she experiences her last menstrual period. Some women begin experiencing symptoms of hormone imbalance at anywhere from their early 30's to their late 40's, depending on several factors related to environment, heredity and how early you started having your period.
The cessation of Migraine attacks can sometimes be associated with menopause when the patient's main triggers are reproductive hormones. Migraine attacks themselves do not usually begin at menopause, although they can escalate during peri-menopause and menopause. A new headache with Migrainous symptoms that appears after age 40 should be investigated by a headache specialist or qualified physician.
if you are still having periods, even if they are irregular, then you have not gone through the menopause yet
It means symptoms right before you get menopause and they could last awhile before you begin menopause. Post means 'after', so post menopausal means following the menopause or the stage of life following the cessation of monthly periods for one year.
If you missed 2 periods and have been having hot flashes, it could be a sign of menopause. It would be best to see your doctor if you are worried.

Yes. A woman can get pregnant until she hits menopause, which is the point at which she no longer ovulates, and thus can no longer get pregnant. Most women begin menopause in their 50's.
Women stop having babies as a reuslt of the "menopause", this happens essentially when the supply of eggs in the ovaries runs out and as a result their hormone levels change and these cause the physical changes experience during the menopause too (like hot sweats). The age a woman goes through the menopause is different for every woman, but tends to be when they are in their 40′s or 50′s (but having a child gets more difficult as the womans gets in her 30′s). Th age of menopause tends to be similar to that of your mother
