It takes about five days for the baby to implant in the uterus so if you ovulate early like 1 day after your period has ended you could see bleeding from implant as early as 6 days after you period ended and up to 10 days after your period ended.

Your period came early and is light but steady could you be pregnant?

It's possible, this could be implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is the result of the fertilized egg(s) implanting itself into the uttering lining which results in bleeding and occasionally abdominal cramping. This form of bleeding takes place six to twelve days after ovulation. ( A females ovulation generally takes place 14 days before her period). There will not be a large amount of blood, some women may not even notice any. Implantation bleeding only lasts a couple of days, this is the way to compare and contrast the difference between implantation and menstrual bleeding.

Will decidual bleeding be shorter than your normal period?

During early pregnancy, hormonal changes can cause ovulation or a thickening of the uterine lining that sheds, in spite of the presence of a fertilized egg. When this happens around the time of your normal period, it is called decidual bleeding and the amount of blood can be the same as a period. It occurs in about 30% of pregnancies and while bleeding in early pregnancy is always alarming, most woman go on to have a normal pregnancy. Light bleeding or spotting, before your period is due, may be implantation bleeding, again harmless. Always notify your doctor when you experience any bleeding during pregnancy.

What does two weeks early light menstruation mean?

It is possible that this isn't menstruation at all. Light bleeding mid-cycle may be ovulation bleeding or hormonal imbalances causing spotting. If it's a one-off then it's nothing to be concerned about, but if this occurs on a regular basis it is best to talk to your doctor about investigating the cause.
