Blood enters the heart from the superior vena cava and the inferior vena cava. It is rich in carbon dioxide. It goes from the right atrium to the right ventricle. It's then pumped through the pulmonary arteries to the lungs. At the lungs carbon dioxide is released and oxygen is absorbed. Blood full of oxygen returns to the heart through the pulmonary vein. Then from the left atrium to the left ventricle. The blood, now rich in oxygen, flows through the aorta. The aorta branches into smaller arteries. The arteries carry blood all over the body.

So, from the right ventricle blood goes through pulmonary arteries to the lungs.

Where does blood go next after passing the right ventricle?

The right ventricle empties into the pulmonary arteries which carry the deoxygenated blood to the lungs to be re-oxygenated.

Where does the blood go next after it goes to the right atrium?

In the mammalian (and avian) heart, blood passes directly from the atria into the corresponding ventricles. So blood from the right atrium next enters the right ventricle.

Blood flows into the right ventricle from the right atrium. The right ventricle will contract and pump the blood out to the lungs via the pulmonary veins to get oxygenated.
